Behaviour policy

I understand that the operators (Next Generation NE Sport Coaching Ltd) or the venue owners can terminate the participation of my child on the course, if my child’s actions are detrimental or dangerous to other participants.

All bookings require the customer to sign our waiver at the point of purchase at checkout. For full details of our waiver please see below:

Terms and Conditions


1.1 “Activities” means sport activities & sports

1.2 “Customer(s)” – the parent, guardian or responsible adult over the age of 18 years of the child wishing to participate in the ‘’Activities’’

1.3 “Equipment” – means the equipment used during the organised activities.

1.4 “Operator(s)” – the employees, or consultants, of NGSC from time to time

1.5 “Next Generation NE Sport Coaching Ltd” (“NGSC”) the organiser of the event and provider of the Equipment.

1.6 “Venue” means School selected (postcode of venue selected) (dates of holiday you have selected) where the activities are to take place

If the child suffers from any of the following they may not be permitted to partake in activities:

  • They have back problems;
  • They suffer from any Chest complaints;
  • They suffer from any joint problems or have a recently healed break; or 
  • from any other medical condition that may be aggravated by riding the organised physical activities.
  1. The Customer, on behalf of the child agrees and declares as follows:

2.1 The Customer will advise NGSC in advance of any medications the child requires or may require during the activities and provide the same to the qualified NGSC operator.

2.2 The Customer hereby give’s permission for first aid to be administered if required by qualified NGSC operators. 

2.3 The Customer will advise the Operators if the child has any food allergies and acknowledges that NGSC will not be liable for any illness, injury or damage caused as a result of contact with any foods. 

2.4 The Customer is aware that the equipment or other participants may have been in contact with peanuts and nuts.  

2.5 The child is in good health and does not suffer from any medical condition or disability which is likely to adversely affect their partaking in any activities or that might have the effect of making it more likely that the child is involved in an incident which could result in injury to themselves or to others. 

2.6 The Customer hereby agrees to ensure the child is suitably attired for the activities i.e. suitable running shoes, shorts or jogging pants, t-shirt.  

2.7 The Customer agrees that all jewellery will be removed prior to commencement of any activities and NGSC cannot be held accountable for any injury caused to the child due to non-removal of jewellery.  The taping over of any jewellery is not adequate and the items must be removed. 

2.8 NGSC will not be responsible for any loss or damage for any items including jewellery brought by the Customer or the child to the activities.

2.9 The Customer on behalf of the child totally absolves NGSC from any liability arising howsoever whilst partaking in any activity.  In the unlikely event of any accident, or loss or damage whilst partaking in any physical activity, NGSC and its Operators will not be liable for any direct or indirect illness, loss, damage or injury arising from the child’s participation and all claims against NGSC and its Operator that could be made by the child or the Customer on their behalf are waived in this respect.

2.10 The Customer has satisfied itself as to the suitability, condition and fitness of purpose of the Equipment without relying upon the skills or judgement of NGSC or any person purporting to act on its behalf and agrees that the Equipment is suitable for the child’s participation.

By participating, the Customer agrees for itself, the child, their heirs, executors and administrators to waive any and all claims for personal injury and/or representatives for any and all injuries caused while taking part in this activity.

I have read and accepted the above Terms and Conditions from NGSC and agree to the child’s participation on the Activities

Next Generation NE Sports Coaching acknowledges the duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and is committed to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice.


The policy recognises that the welfare and interests of children are paramount in all circumstances. It aims to ensure that regardless of age, ability or disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, socio-economic background, all children: 


  • have a positive and enjoyable experience of sport with Next Generation NE Sports Coaching in a safe and child centred environment  
  • are protected from abuse whilst participating in multi sports or outside of the activities being undertaken.


Next Generation NE Sports Coaching acknowledges that some children, including disabled children and young people or those from ethnic minority communities, can be particularly vulnerable to abuse and accepts the responsibility to take reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure their welfare. 


As part of its safeguarding policy Next Generation NE Sports Coaching will:


  • promote and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children and young people  
  • ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities in respect of safeguarding and is provided with appropriate learning opportunities to recognise, identify and respond to signs of abuse, neglect and other safeguarding concerns relating to children and young people  
  • ensure appropriate action is taken in the event of incidents/concerns of abuse and support provided to the individual/s who raise or disclose the concern
  • ensure that confidential, detailed and accurate records of all safeguarding concerns are maintained and securely stored  
  • prevent the employment/deployment of unsuitable individuals  
  • ensure robust safeguarding arrangements and procedures are in operation. 


The policy and procedures will be widely promoted and are mandatory for everyone involved in Next Generation NE Sports Coaching. Failure to comply with the policy and procedures will be addressed without delay and may ultimately result in dismissal/exclusion from the organisation. 



The policy will be reviewed a year after development and then every three years, or in the following circumstances:  

  • changes in legislation and/or government guidance  
  • as required by the Local Safeguarding Children Board and UK Sport  
  • as a result of any other significant change or event.
