Located by the coast in Whitley Bay, Whitley Lodge First School provides a sports hall, a large grass sports field surrounded by a running track and a large yard.
Directions –
Use the car park off of Woodburn Drive, NE26 3HW
Once parked up head to the school entrance where a coach will be waiting
Be careful when leaving and entering the car park as children will be crossing so enter slowly.
Start & Finish time –
Please arrive between 0845-0900 each morning. We will not be opening the doors before 0845.
You can pick up your children between 1510-1530.
If you need to collect your child earlier than 1510, please text or call the numbers below to inform the coaches.
When you arrive
Please walk your child/ren to the sports hall door (the coach will be present).
A coach will be waiting inside to take your child’s temperature. Children do not need to wear a facemask.
Please ensure your children have all their belongings before they enter the sports hall, this is to prevent children from trying to reenter the car park.
What to bring –
An easy to open packed lunch (coaches can’t help to open food products) & a snack for break time.
Spare clothes, spare trainers, and a clearly labelled bag.
Clearly labelled drinks bottles (minimum two)
Sun cream (bottle clearly labelled)
Medication (only if your child has allergies/ requires an inhaler etc)
